What's new

Changes you can see in Clockaroo, newest first, with the day each one was added.

  • Quotes and estimates

Send a fixed-price quote or an estimate in hours. Your client opens it from a link, without an account, and can accept or decline it. An accepted quote becomes a draft invoice, in full or in parts, and on Team it can set the project's budget.

  • Expenses

Record expenses with up to three receipts each. Billable expenses go onto the client's next invoice, with an optional markup per project. You can export them as a CSV file, or as a ZIP file with the receipts.

  • Access for your tax adviser

Invite your tax adviser or bookkeeper at no cost. They can read your issued invoices, reports and expenses and download the DATEV export, and they can't change anything. They need two-factor authentication to open your books.

  • Calendar import

Add your calendar's iCal (ICS) link from Google Calendar, Outlook, iCloud or another calendar. Your events show next to your time, and you can turn an event into a time entry. The app only reads your calendar and never writes to it.

  • Invoicing for businesses in the Netherlands

Businesses in the Netherlands can now invoice with 21% and 9% btw, the KOR, btw verlegd and a CSV list for the opgaaf ICP. When a client asks for an e-invoice, the invoice also gets a Peppol BIS file, checked with the Peppol rules. The app doesn't send it over the Peppol network.

  • Recurring invoices

Set an invoice to repeat every month or quarter. Each time, the app can make a draft for you to check, issue the invoice, or issue and send it. If a check fails, the invoice stays a draft and you get an email.

  • Two-factor authentication for the whole team

Owners can now require two-factor authentication for everyone in the workspace. Everyone gets an email and 14 days to set it up.

  • The app in Dutch

The app and its emails are now available in Dutch. Invoices can be in Dutch too, or in Dutch and English on one invoice.

  • Two-factor authentication

Protect your login with a code from an authenticator app. You also get 10 recovery codes for when your phone isn't at hand.

  • Payment reminders

Remind clients of unpaid invoices in up to three steps, by hand or automatically on the days you choose. Automatic reminders stay off until you turn them on, and the app adds no interest or fees.

  • Timesheet approvals

People submit their week, and owners approve it or send it back with a note. If you want, only approved hours can be invoiced.

  • Costs and profit in reports

Owners set a cost rate for each person, and reports show the estimated profit per project, client and person. Setting cost rates is part of Team.

  • Import from Toggl Track and Clockify

Upload the detailed CSV report from Toggl Track or Clockify, check the preview and the column mapping, then import. People from the file join as placeholders and cost nothing until they accept an invitation.
